There are not only rectangular parking lots in the World
The parking lot at the Nykøbing F. – Hollands Gaard address is also monitored by ParkingDetection’s cameras. This application required only one camera, which covers concentric parking areas at the town’s square of Nykøbing. The parking lot has 48 parking spots, but one of them could not be monitored due to image overlap. Data communication is established via mobile connection, while there is a significant image transfer data reduction and safety of image data provided by our advanced ParkingDetection Gateway device. The installation itself has been done by our partner COWI A/S, who is also the operator of this system.
